Something New

New Favorite was born out of a desire to spread my love of fashion, thrifting, and crafting. As a full time stay-at-home single mom I wanted to find a way to pursue my creative passions while still doing good for the planet and having fun! I absolutely love to go thrifting and love to find a bargain. Too many times to count I have been complimented on something I was wearing that was thrifted.

Thrifting itself can be overwhelming. Lots of time you don’t end up finding anything and you sort through .. well let’s just be honest.. crap. The stores can smell weird and some people just don’t like to spend time hunting. But thrifting is a great way to help your local community and the environment.

I wanted to find a way to pass along a good bargain and save clothes and products from the landfill. More than that I wanted to pursue my creative passions like art, sewing, and crafting. Some of the items for sale have been rejuvenated by adding some fun designs or decorative detail. These bespoke items are extra fun because it’s allowed me to use my creative side in fashion and products that already exist while also creating something truly unique.

A collection of items are simply handcrafted by me. These items were just fun to make and I wanted to share my fun ideas with the world. Single mom life can be hard and creating helps me balance who I am with the demands of motherhood.
